Heads Up!
On Jan 13 we received a sheet on an assignment for the rest of the year - los anuncios. Each student has a date in which he or she will do daily announcements in Spanish. Be ready for yours!
There will be no test over our last unit. Questions for it will be included in our final exam, which will take place Fri, May 20. It's a group effort so be here!

What Happened in Class?
Tuesday May 10 - Today we took our song quiz and turned in its worksheet for Mas Alla del Sol. We also watched a 30 minute film on Costa Rica and did a worksheet on it, due at the end of class. No homework.
Thursday May 12 - Today we learned about 10 command tense irregular verbs and did a worksheet on them, due next time. I passed out the final exam study guides and discussed how the final is going to work.
Monday May 16 - Today I checked your command tense homework from last time. We worked as groups to fill out our final exam study guides. Homework: study for your final. I also checked your worksheet from last time.
Wednesday May 18 - Today we worked as groups to fill out our final exam study guides. Homework: study for your final.
Friday May 20 - Today we turned in our final exam study guides for points and took our group final exam. If you were absent you totally let down your group (who needed you) and you will have to take the test alone with me during e-time before Wednesday of next week. Homework: bring a treat to share for our party next time
Tuesday May 24 - Today we had a class party, said our goodbyes, took pictures, signed t-shirts, and exchanged pesos/extra credit for prizes.
Thursday May 26 - Today was Lagoon day for 9th graders. 7-8 graders got their yearbooks during A1, then had short classes (all 8 periods) for the rest of the day to sign yearbooks, etc. Have a great summer vacation!
